This is a six panel home page banner for FIREapps,  they are the leading provider of on-demand software solutions for managing foreign exchange exposure.  The panel contains 7 streaming videos that are designed to pop up as the user rolls over the bottom links.
It took a little while to get this to work properly as the client insisted that all videos begin playing instantly once the user triggered the respective link.

While this was very tricky, I think it came out well.

A simple custom accordion panel that is up but still in development.

It will be updated soon to include live XML data.

I was presented with an animated flash piece that needed to transition from 2d to 3d and back.

Using Papervision3D, inside Flex I was able to load in the animation and with a lot of minor tweaks, able to seamlessly transition into 3d cubes.

The animation was created by a brilliant animator named Gav Gnatovich. I learned a lot from him just chatting for an hour.

Working with 2 other developers, we created an interactive CME certificate software .

These are University of Arizona accredited lessons and case studies for radiologists to earn online CME credits.

Developed using Ruby on Rails and Flex, this program streams graphical interactive tests and tracks the results for each user.

There are over 200 unique tests.

Millitrak is a system for online medical records designed for a mobile mammography company that makes mammograms available to under served women in small communities.

Tripwire Arts has teamed up with Dr. Fred Brickman and Assured Imaging Women’s Wellness to develop this software, which is a detailed, yet user-friendly system of handling medical records.

Millitrak is a Flex / Ruby on Rails system that automates an entire work flow process, from patient scheduling to the final doctor’s report.

I have worked on this software with a small team for over two years and it is very close to being released.

Developed using Ruby on Rails and Flex, two developers and I worked to create a custom management tool for professional pediatric diagnosis and electronic health-care records entry, storage and retrieval.

My work was mainly focussed on designing and developing interactive data driven components designed in Adobe Illustrator and imported as skins through Adobe Catalyst into Flex MXML.

A Flash based product Guide for Hedge Fund Research, Inc’s website.

They requested an interesting navigation style that would “slide” from one side to another.

This has been updated annually for 3 years now.

Terralever, a company working with Red Bull requested several different illustrations to incoperate into a website they were developing.

Sometimes you get asked to make a non denominational holiday e-card with a dancing snowflake for a hedge fund company.
So, you do what you can.

Since the 90s I have designed and developed web sites.  It is not the most exciting work but I do enjoy CSS puzzles.
I designed some of these, others were designed by professional designers.  For each of these I was responsible for the HTML and CSS.
